Common Projects is a collaborative project between American art director, Prathan Poopata, and Italian creative, Flavio Firolami. The company started in 2004 and is known for its clean-lined look, sleek design, quality materials and premium craftsmanship. The name comes from the designers sharing a common interest in certain projects, thus Common Projects.  The brand focuses on high end sneakers that bridge the gap between luxury footwear and casual sneakers. Assembled in Italy, the brand uses high quality Italian Nappa leather with hand-stitched production. The brand is recognized with its signature gold stamp at the heel of each sneaker which highlights the style, size and color code.  The brand is most well known for its sought after model, “Achilles.” Besides sneakers, the brand also produces leather accessories and suede chelsea boots.
