When you combine all of the circumstances that lead to the creation of Advisory Boards Crystals you would think it was meant to be. The popular streetwear and fashion brand has evolved since its inception in 2015 and is now highly desired by artists and fashion enthusiasts alike. As the latest addition to our brand roster, we’d like to highlight the beginnings of the newly developed label; the story began with Remington Guest requesting an UberShare ride. In this ride he would meet Heather Haber, they were headed to the same party together and realized they actually worked together at the same fashion house. Since this moment they became inseparable and as a first date, Guest took Heather Haber to a crystal shop where their future would officially begin.

When they discovered their love for crystals, fashion, and eccentric sub-cultures, they wanted to put their focus on combining all of these things into one. After leaving their respectable jobs they pursued an apparel journey and included premium qualities with the themes they have grown a passion for. Their brand started to slowly take off as they introduced unique qualities and graphics to elevated fabrics such as a dying process that utilizes crystals. This innovative mindset allowed the company to grow and become desired by a variety of communities. In 2017, the duo would introduce their first-ever solo collection making them officially a part of the fashion industry. 

Described as a ‘contemporary iteration of a crystal shop,’ Advisory Board Crystals and their creators have a drive for philanthropy as many of their limited-run pieces either spread a certain message or proceeds are given to a designated charity. But many of their designs share a common theme as both designers have a passion for classic Hollywood and 60s trope aesthetics. Because of their modern take on clothing we continuously see nods of internet culture, cosmology, and current trends within each design. Notable names including PARTYNEXTDOOR, Lil Watne, and Pusha-T have been spotted wearing the brand and growing the popularity of the name. 

The latest delivery from Advisory Board Crystals goes back to the basics of closet essentials by introducing neutral palettes, premium constructions, and modern versions of traditional styles. Also referred to as ‘Abc. 123.’ the collection reverts to more earthy tones that can be implemented as a layer or worn for a statement. The Zip-Up Hoodie is a great example of its premium qualities as exclusively made cotton provides a medium-weight finish that progresses the jacket’s longevity. A full-length button closure, frontal pockets, and embroidered branding are some of the classic elements seen within the garment. All of the pieces introduced are designed in coinciding color palettes which include Azurite, Malachite, Chalcanthite, and Cloud. Other essential apparel within the collection includes Sweatshorts, Sweatpants, the S/S Pocket Tee, and more. 

The capsule also includes unique versions of work-appropriate clothes as seen with the Studio Work Shirt and the Studio Work Pant. These elevated styles can be transferred between casual and sophisticated events for a versatile fit. These designs are featured in the same color palettes as the core pieces for a cohesive finish.
