Saucony was originally founded back in 1898 in the Kutztown, Pennsylvania on the banks of Saucony Creek. After being bought in the late 1960s by Hyde Athletic Industries, the Saucony name became official again in the late ‘80s when Saucony became Hyde’s dominant selling brand.
Pronounced sock-a-knee, the recognizable Saucony logo is represented by the water flow of the creek and the dots representing the boulders that line the creek. The sneaker brand is most well known for its track and field athletic shoes. With a heavy focus on running shoes, the Saucony Originals Collection was created to reintroduce the retro-running silhouette in new colorways made from premium materials.
Blending a technical shoe with fashion, the new Saucony Jazz Original ‘Peak Pack’ takes inspiration from a traditional climbing shoe. The silhouette features a mix of unisex colorways and provides a structure that is made to be robust, durable and to provide the ultimate comfort. The silhouette features a nylon and nubuck, rubber coating upper, with a shearling lining. Other details include a notched sole, dotted midsole, reflective raised tie and roped laces.
The Saucony Jazz Original ‘Peak” silhouette comes in two different colorways; Curry/Ginger and Grey/Dove/Orange. Ready to secure your pair? Saucony Jazz Original Peak pack is available now online. Click here to grab your pair.
