Like many other 15 year-old kids, Tommy Caroll has a love for skateboarding. What seperates Tommy's passion apart from other teens is that he practices his passion completely blind. Losing his sight entirely by the age of 2 due to bilateral retinoblastoma, a rare cancer of the retinas, Tommy relies completely on his sense of sound and his heightened sense of perception to get him by on his board. In the video above Tommy navigates through a skatepark with sheer ease, despite his disability- which is truly encouraging to witness.
