Puma and SEGA unveil the long awaited SONIC The Hedgehog collection ($130). This duo of RS-0 silhouettes mimic two of the most iconic characters from the game, Sonic and his arch nemesis Dr. Eggman. Each sneaker draws inspiration from both the characters themselves as well as various game elements. The Sonic rendition is constructed with a long haired blue suede, paired with a checkerboard pattern at the mid foot support pod and 8bit grass detailing at the heel, playing off the ground Sonic runs on. The Dr. Eggman rendition features a predominately red patent leather upper with black and yellow striping at the support pod and heel. Each features a small character at the heel with rings following Sonic and fireballs trailing Dr. Eggman.
