Adidas in collaboration with renowned chef and TV personality Eddie Huang join forces to showcase a Chinese New Year iteration of the Ultraboost ($200). Key elements are borrowed from Chinese customs to keep the sneaker traditional and tasteful, such as gold calligraphy and red envelopes. Eddie also makes his part known by emphasizing his "human panda" mantra by adding a nice touch to the tongue. The silhouette features a red primeknit upper complimented by red tonal suede overlays and a leather cage for a bold appearance. The upper features hits of gold at the heel and throughout for a nice contrast. Metallic laces are also laced up for a unique difference from the common models.
