Considered one of the most innovative universities in the country, the history and legacy of Arizona State University is rich, bold, and vibrant. Instilled on March 12, 1885, the university was established 27 years before Arizona was even declared an official state. In celebration of our upcoming FEATURE location in Scottsdale, we are excited to announce our first-ever collaboration with this widely recognized university in our exclusive FEATURE x ASU Fall 2022 capsule collection. This capsule dives deep into ASU’s iconic maroon and gold school colors along with the university’s rich ‘Sun Devil’ heritage. The idea for Arizona’s ‘Sun Devil’ mascot started in 1946 when the then Arizona State College track coach Donn Kinzle was on an early morning run along the Salt River Bed when he noticed a dust devil materialized in the air, and while it was swirling and dancing above the sand and rock, he created the idea of the ‘Sun Devil.’

The FEATURE x ASU capsule consists of a selection of apparel and headwear that perfectly encapsulates the university’s heritage. With that, the FEATURE x ASU Give ‘Em Hell Hoodie takes on a premium aesthetic paired with the fiery ‘Sun Devil’ ASU aesthetic. Made for a slightly oversized fit, the hoodie is seen in ‘Black’ and ‘Meerkat’ colorways and is cut from premium 14 oz heavyweight cotton that offers a breathable and comfortable experience. The silhouette has received a pigment-dyed treatment for a vintage feel. The hoodie features a hood and spotlights ribbed detailing at the cuffs and hem. The kangaroo pocket makes an appearance as well, offering a functional touch. Puff-printed ASU and FEATURE branding are at the front, with similar screen-printed branding and graphics at the rear spotlighting the university’s fiery aesthetic. The typography includes ‘All Things Good!’ and ‘Give ‘Em Hell Devils!’

Arizona State University is known worldwide for having one of the country's most successful college Division 1 baseball programs. With five national championships under its belt, the university is currently ranked first in having the most alumni to ever play in Major League Baseball. Some of the university’s most notable alumni include Barry Bonds, Reggie Jackson, and Sal Bando. Inspired by the university’s baseball history, the FEATURE x ASU Grand Slam Tee is made for a standard fit and domestically crafted from premium 6.5 oz heavyweight cotton. Receiving a pigment-dyed treatment, the silhouette spotlights screen-printed Arizona State University Sun Devils typography: “Leaders on the Field, in the Classroom, and around the Community.” FEATURE branding at the right sleeve and at the rear round out the remainder of the silhouette.

As for headwear, the FEATURE x ASU SD Script Trucker is available in Black/Black, Black/White, Maroon, and Yellow colorways. Each exclusive hat takes on a structured foam front paired with a curved brim. The netting at the sides allows for a signature trucker aesthetic. At the front of the silhouette is screen-printed ‘Sun Devil’ branding that is intertwined with Sun Devil-inspired detailing. The overall polyester construction is secured at the rear with its adjustable snapback closure.

ASU’s School of Earth and Space Exploration is ranked in the top two percentile in the United States for NASA-funded research expenditures. This program brings together the brightest minds in a selection of sciences in order to help better understand and expand the universe. The FEATURE x ASU For The Planet Tee contributes to that planetary concept with its aesthetic. Cut from premium 6.5 oz heavyweight cotton, the silhouette is made for a standard fit and is domestically produced. Receiving a pigment-dyed treatment and a ribbed neckline, the silhouette spotlights screen-printed ASU typography intertwined with earth-inspired graphics and FEATURE branding proudly displayed at the front, with the same appearing at the rear. Additional phrasing says “FEATURE and ASU For The Planet” and “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!”
