Originally from Santa Barbara, California, Doni Nahmias moved to Los Angeles as a young adult to pursue a career in fashion. Coming from humble beginnings, the self-taught designer got his start by interning for the well-respected luxury label AMIRI, specifically under the watchful eye of Mike Amiri. Doni Nahmias’ interest in fashion started when he became drawn to designer jeans in junior high. After interning with AMIRI, he assembled a small collection and was soon given an installation to launch the brand in February 2018.

Based in his downtown Los Angeles studio, Nahmias has emerged onto the LA fashion scene with force since its debut five years ago, having since joined the likes of AMIRI, Rhude, and John Elliott when it comes to the city’s best men’s luxury apparel.

Inspired by Southern California, Nahmias’s core DNA makes up an informal combination of skate, basketball, and surf culture. Growing up in the Summerland area of Santa Barbara in California, Doni spent much of his childhood playing basketball and surfing, and every offering throughout the Nahmias playbook authentically showcases those experiences.

Nahmias tells the story of aspirations and hope, as Doni Nahmias shares a piece of himself to the world to wear to express themselves. Luxury fabrics are used to spotlight this elevated surf and skate-inspired brand. Nahmias’ new arrivals often include t-shirts, hoodies, baggy trousers, football shirts, cargo pants, silk shorts, silk shirts, track pants, trucker hats + more.
