Always having an eye for fashion, a young Alex James would take the train from New Jersey down to New York City to explore stores. This further piqued his fashion interest, resulting in him working retail jobs as a teen. Eventually transitioning into selling clothes he had found at estate sales, Alex James officially established his own label, PLEASURES, in 2015.

What is PLEASURES? Based in Los Angeles, the streetwear label defines real pleasure as “A mood. An emotion.
