What began as an experimental jewelry brand established in 2008 has since grown into a full-fledged contemporary Japanese label. Instilled by the iconic female fashion designer Yoon Kahn, Ambush is inspired by the innovative pop art and Tokyo aesthetics presented in the ‘90s. Yoon Kahn has become the face of the contemporary label by expanding into clothing with its signature ready-to-wear apparel line in 2015. She is best known for her multidimensional approach to fashion that draws from history and pop culture, resulting in a unique aesthetic that no other brand compares to.

In 2020, the sneaker world forever changed when Ambush collided with Nike in the brand new Nike Dunk High x Ambush collaboration. Yoon Kahn was the first-ever sneaker designer to create a Nike Dunk design. In this collaboration, Khan utilized inspiration from Japanese vehicle culture to create an iconic sneaker design with the most vibrant colors. With that, Ambush and Nike continue their journey together with the Nike x Ambush Air Adjust Force. This exclusive collaboration looks at both brands’ ‘90s aesthetics by releasing the Air Adjust Force silhouette from the Nike archives. This release follows the duo’s Dunk High 2021 collaboration, allowing Yoon Kahn to continue making a mark on the fashion industry with her cutting-edge design aesthetics that blend seamlessly with the efforts of Nike’s key silhouettes.

This take on the iconic ‘90s basketball sneaker is released in two colorways: ‘Black and Psychic Purple’ + ‘Summit White and Black.’ The silhouette spotlights a full-grain leather upper and double heel loop tabs that provide easy on and off. Signature Nike branding is seen at the toe box, heel, side panel, and midfoot strap along with subtle Ambush touches. A Nike Grind outsole unit provides an eco-friendly and durable finish.
