Kanye West’s entrepreneur mindset has impacted fashion as his Yeezy brand has completely changed footwear. Since his initial introduction to stardom, there was always something about his style that was unique, making everyone want to follow. He’s always had a passion for fashion as he has worked with Louis Vuitton many times and Nike prior to his partnership with Adidas. West has also worked alongside Virgil Abloh in 2009 during his era in Fendi. He did this to get a better understanding of high-end fashion which would help him build his own clothing and footwear label. With a successful introduction of his Yeezy brand, he continues to produce iconic silhouettes including his 700 sneakers. Originally introduced in the summer of 2017,  the sneaker absolutely stole the show as it modernized the classic styling of the dad shoe. The OG 700, also known as ‘The Wave Runner,’ reinvented chunky footwear as people were now looking for similar styles. Brands including Balenciaga and Gucci have contributed to the sneaker design but many craved the streetwear aesthetic seen within Yeezy’s 700. As the sneaker became more successful, many colorways and versions were also released and the latest installment will be nicknamed ‘Bright Blue.’

Releasing Saturday, April 24th, the latest version of the 700 will see a striking colorway as a blend of blue and orange decorates the OG sneaker. The classic design is seen with a mesh fabricated upper which is accented by leather and suede overlays. A bright orange rubber outsole is striking and compliments the bright blue colorway perfectly. To mellow out the design we see details of black implemented throughout. Adidas’ signature Boost cushioning constructs the midsole providing ultimate comfort with every step. This model is feverishly sought after as Yeezy has been producing the latest versions more often in comparison to its original. Fashion and sneaker enthusiasts alike will feverishly be anticipating the hyped release.
