Nike Dunk Low ‘Ceramic’ (2020) Release November 19th

Nike Dunk Low ‘Ceramic’ (2020) Release November 19th

Marissa Villamor

In 2001, Nike first introduced the new Pro B line of the Dunk Lows, which included new materials and thicker lacers, specific to skateboarders. One of the first releases of the Dunk Low Pro B series had the ‘Ugly Ducking’ Pack, which includes the three iconic colorways of ‘Plum,’ ‘Veneer’ and ‘Ceramic.’ These eye-catching colorways were made exclusively in Japan and quickly turned into a cult-like favorite to the masses. Nineteen-years later, the Ugly Ducking Pack sees a return with remakes of the classic Dunks.

Following the release of the Nike Dunk Low ‘Plum’ and Nike Dunk Low ‘Veneer’ this year, Nike is back with another Japanese (CO.JP) exclusive from the ‘Ugly Duckling’ pack. The ‘Ceramic’ colorway has been a fan favorite since its original release and has been extremely sought after for its bold color. Back again, the 2020 version sees a one of one remake, making this iteration as close to the original as possible.

Adhering to the original model, the upper is dressed in premium suede with ceramic orange shades, black and nori green. The uppers’ main colorway is ceramic with black and green hits on the Nike Swoosh, toe box, side panel, and laces. Other finishing details include a mesh tongue, woven tongue labels and embroidered Nike branding on the heel tab.
