Air Jordan 1 Hi Zoom ‘Zen Green’ is releasing this Friday, August 14th. The classic silhouette is revamped with a new colorway and the use of Nike's Zoom Air technology. The Nike Zoom Air Technology debuted over twenty years ago and provided a responsive low-profile cushioning for athletes. The Zoom Air originally made its debut in the sports industry with a football cleat, basketball shoe and running sneaker. The purpose of the technology was to give athletes and runners a more responsive run. When your foot touches the ground, the technology generates an explosive, robust response, letting athletes quickly spring back. 

The technology is back again but now in a more lifestyle silhouette. The Air Jordan 1 silhouette first introduced the Air Zoom technology to the model this past December in the Air Jordan 1 Hi Zoom ‘Fearless.’ The model was then released earlier this year in the highly sought after ‘Racer Blue’ colorway. 

The ‘Zen Green’ silhouette updates the iconic Air Jordan 1 model with revised cushioning and different materials. The upper features smooth black leather with green suede on the quarter panels and toe box, with a matte silver Swoosh. Other details include a white midsole and a blue semi-translucent sole.
