FEATURE x New Era 'Flaming Dice' Release May 12th

First making its debut over 100 years ago in the early ‘20s, New Era started as a small hat shop by hatmaker Ehrhardt Koch. The brand started in Buffalo, New York, and focused on creating hats for men, women, and children. The company transitioned into making baseball caps a decade later, in 1930. Baseball caps would eventually become New Era’s primary trademark.

Once 1934 rolled around, New Era constructed its first official MLB headwear for the Cleveland Guardians (previously known as the Cleveland Indians). Soon after, New Era became the official headwear brand of the MLB, eventually becoming the official brand for other professional sports leagues such as the NBA and NFL.

Known for producing a wide variety of hats, New Era is primarily known for its iconic 59FIFTY. This fitted hat features a flat brim, high crown, and structured front panel. This hat has become synonymous with baseball culture and is the official on-field cap for the MLB. With that, FEATURE’s ongoing collaboration with New Era started in 2018 and continues with the latest collaborative 59FIFTY silhouette—’Flaming Dice.’

Spotlighting teams such as the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, and more, the FEATURE x New Era ‘Flaming Dice’ 59FIFTY Fitted is constructed entirely from polyester, resulting in a durable and premium aesthetic. The fitted silhouette incorporates woven eyelets along the crown for added breathability. Underneath the flat brim is a contrasting undervisor, while an embroidered New Era logo flag can be found on the wearer’s left side. At the rear of the hat is an embroidered FEATURE script logo. On the face of the hat is a raised and embroidered MLB team logo, while on the right side is a unique ‘flaming dice’ embroidered graphic that finishes up the remainder of the design.
