Passion, dedication, and being relentless - these are just some of the many driving forces behind Drake’s newest collaboration with Nike, “NOCTA.” Starting in 2015, Drake began officially working with Nike. Launching their first collaboration: Jordan Brand x OVO. In the form of a Jordan 10 model, the cream-colored sneaker helped solidify their relationship. 5 years later, Drake and Nike are teaming up again to create a streetwear line that also elevates comfort and everyday essentials. 

In the latest Nike Interview, Drake explains the clothing line stating, “it’s characterized by the type who are on the road all day, all night — the grinders, the hard workers — trying to accomplish their goals and taking no shortcuts.” Taking inspiration from his hometown of Toronto, Drake realizes a uniform that is common amongst those in the city. As the weather gets colder, jackets,  gloves, and hat's become more essential. Therefore, NOCTA will highlight those pieces as a nod towards his roots. For the past two years, Nike and Drake have been planning and designing a collection that will soon come into fruition. Black and University Gold will be a common colorway throughout the collection that will bring every piece together. 

This collection features outdoor wear that is comfortable and functional. The whole collection is distinctive but also carries the same vibe throughout each piece. From everyday layers to heavy duty items, the variety of NOCTA works for many occasions. The NOCTA Black Fleece Pants consist of an everyday casual look with cotton fabric - this piece can either be dressed up for a day in the city or casual night at home. Along with the pants, keep an eye out for the NOCTA Black and University Gold Puffer Jackets that will be taking Nike fashion by storm. Capable for the harsh weather conditions of winter, these puffer jackets will become a staple in closets everywhere.
