The Los Angeles-based streetwear label PLEASURES was founded in 2015 by Alex James. Growing up in New Jersey, Alex James’ affinity for 90s subculture was prevalent, specifically when it came to clothing. He would take the train to New York City to explore stores, and these moments would eventually grow into Alex James working at a variety of retail stores as a young adult. Soon after, the fashion innovator began to sell clothes that he found at estate sales. This venture helped transform his 90s inspiration and passion for DIY lifestyle into clothing. Eventually, Alex James stopped selling his estate sale-found clothing and established the Los Angeles-based streetwear label PLEASURES. 

PLEASURES embodies intense punk, grunge, and rock n roll aesthetics. To Alex James, the definition of PLEASURES means “A mood. An emotion. An altered state of being,” and that real pleasure starts with your clothing. The grunge-inspired label evokes strong feelings of nostalgia while intertwining California-based graphics. PLEASURES is well-versed in blazing pathways and cutting through the noise of standard clothing expectations with new designs that make a bold and distinct statement. With that, PLEASURES introduces the new arrivals of their coinciding collaboration with the iconic Playboy brand. This collaboration presents a selection of apparel and headwear perfect for transitioning into the warmer months while still offering you various options. This signature capsule embodies California-inspired PLEASURES designs combined with the iconic bunny logo from none other than Playboy.

The PB Sweater Vest is one of the first apparel offerings from the PLEASURES x Playboy capsule. This signature design perfectly combines each brand’s aesthetics. Crafted from authentic cotton, the best spotlights an intarsia knitted design that can be seen at the PLEASURES branding within the chest, along with the iconic Playboy bunny placed above it. Knitted detailing can be seen throughout the silhouette, but it makes a striking statement within the hem. The v-neck design ties together the remainder of the look. The PLEASURES x Playboy capsule also includes a selection of signature headwear like the Bunny Trucker Hat. This detailed silhouette features a classic trucker hat design with its polyester foam front and curved brim. A puff-printed Playboy bunny comprises the face, while netted material can be seen at the side panels. At the rear is an adjustable snapback closure, while the woven eyelets at the crown contribute to the design’s breathability and comfort. Patched PLEASURES branding can also be seen at the rear, finishing the rest of the design.

Ideal for wearing on its own or layering with a tee underneath, the PLEASURES x Playboy Bunny Sherpa Zip-Up Jacket is another apparel silhouette featured in this new capsule collaboration. Crafted from polyester, this item is comfortable in its design. The zip closure offers security, while the zippered side pockets contribute to its functional aesthetics. A zippered chest pocket also makes an appearance. Embroidered PLEASURES branding resides at the upper-left portion of the chest and the rear underneath the neckline. The signature Playboy bunny icons appear at the sleeves, tying together the rest of the collaboration. Additionally, the PLEASURES x Playboy PB Raglan L/S emphasizes the bold aesthetics of this collaboration. Embroidered PLEASURES branding at the chest and the Playboy bunny graphics appear throughout the sleeves.
