French fashion house Maison Margiela, formerly known as Maison Martin Margiela, was founded in 1988 in Paris, France, by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. The namesake label focuses on producing the most delicate pieces of menswear and womenswear apparel, jewelry, footwear, and cult favorite REPLICA fragrances. The brand embraces creativity rooted in authenticity, community, and self-expression, focusing on the relationship between clothes and how they are worn. Now under the creative direction of Glenn Martens, the Artisanal atelier challenges tradition by reinterpreting and repurposing past elements into new forms. The Paris fashion house's primary footwear offerings include their iconic Tabi sneakers, loafers, leather sneakers, replica sneakers, and tabi boots. As for apparel, t-shirts, denim jackets, and hoodies are regularly featured in each collection. Maison Margiela has done iconic collaborations with Reebok, Hermes, Converse, and Swarovski.
