Established by Josue Thomas in 2017, Gallery Dept. was founded and is still based in Los Angeles. Josue Thomas never formally trained in fashion or garment-making, as he credits his passion for garmentry to his parents’ artistry he witnessed growing up. Josue Thomas’ journey began with working in clothing stores in his early 20s, and then he began experimenting with cutting jeans, screen-printing t-shirts, and repurposing garments. The official Gallery Dept. brand came to fruition in 2017 and references none other than actual gallery art departments. The label has grown from simply an underground collector label to a full-fledged easily-identifiable streetwear label worn by countless worldwide.

With that, Gallery Dept. introduces its latest restocked + new arrivals. One stand-out silhouette is the Art Dept Crew Neck Sweatshirt. Composed of cotton, the silhouette utilizes ribbed detailing at the trims. Faded screen-printed logo branding is placed at the chest, while the woven brand label wraps up the remainder of the look. Paired perfectly is the Gallery Dept. BLVD La Flare. These premium jeans are composed of cotton and utilize belt loops and a signature five-pocket design. Made for a mid-rise fit, the jeans have a front button fastening and a rear logo patch. The detailed flame appliqué wraps up the remainder of the denim flare jeans.

As for accessories, Gallery Dept.’s Tote Bag is an essential accessory for any collection. The cotton-cut design utilizes an internal snap closure pocket, while the front has been treated with faded screen-printed brand logo detailing. Additional brand logo details are seen on the other side. The dual handles complete the look.
