Happy International Women’s Day! Held annually on March 8th, this historic day, along with Women’s History Month held annually every March, honors the contributions to history, culture, and society brought on by women worldwide. This year, we are introducing our exclusive FEATURE Celebrate Women Tee. This graphic tee is available in Marshmallow and Black colors and spotlights women’s empowerment.

The FEATURE Celebrate Women Tee is made for a standard fit and features a 6.5 oz medium weight 220 GSM cotton construction. Ribbed detailing is at the neckline, while at the front of the design is screen-printed FEATURE branding at the chest intertwined with floral graphics. At the rear is ‘WOMEN ARE ESSENTIAL’ and ‘CELEBRATE WOMEN EVERY DAY’ typography. Additional peace-inspired graphics at the back complete the rest of the silhouette.

In honor of International Women’s Day, we sat down with three women of FEATURE in leadership positions to gather their thoughts on this exclusive tee, what being a woman in leadership means to them, and who inspires them in their careers. Read below for a more in-depth look.

Elisa - Customer Development Manager

Our Customer Development Manager Elisa has been with FEATURE for over a year. To Elisa, being a woman in a leadership role means that she can be someone’s role model. She aims to inspire women and girls from any background or upbringing by sharing her experiences and knowledge in the fashion industry. When asked what the most important piece of advice she’s been given was, she said, "While getting to where you want to be, don’t forget to live and be happy.” Elisa believes that diversity in the workplace is crucial because it allows everyone to bring their views and opinions to the table, which helps bring a strong foundation for any business, specifically when it includes people of different gender and cultural backgrounds. Regarding our FEATURE Celebrate Women Tee, Elisa likes how both women and men can wear the tee to show appreciation to all women.

Nikka - Creative Manager

Our second spotlight is Nikka, our Creative Manager. Having been with FEATURE for over four and a half years, Nikka is responsible for leading various aspects of our Creative Team, including the E-Commerce photographers and the Design Team. She also serves as one of the department’s graphic designers. To Nikka, she believes that gender does not define the greatness of a leader. She believes that being an inspiration and being able to guide others to success is what’s most important. When asked who inspires her, Nikka chose Yoon Ahn of the Japanese label AMBUSH. Ahn inspires Nikka because the designer has achieved massive success in the graphic design and fashion industries and has inspired Nikka to become a graphic designer herself. Nikka believes that diversity in the workplace is crucial because it shows the acceptance of different cultures, ideas, and perspectives.

Marissa - Director of Content Marketing

Marissa, our Director of Content Marketing, has been with FEATURE for over three years. She leads content initiatives through campaigns, social media, and much more. To her, being a woman in leadership means she can help inspire younger girls who want to be a leader in a male-dominated industry. Marissa says, “The version of myself in 5 years inspires me the most in my career. I have an idea of where I want to be in 5 years, and that goal inspires me to keep growing.” Marissa believes that diversity in the workplace is essential to get different ideas, thoughts, and viewpoints from different walks of life. “Especially being a woman, I have a different view and perspective on this industry than others, which I think empowers me and helps me in this role.” Marissa not only likes the FEATURE Celebrate Women Tee because of its meaning, but because of the unique floral and peace-inspired graphics.
