In celebration of the grand opening of our fourth FEATURE retail store in Scottsdale, Arizona, we have joined with Converse to spotlight four local Scottsdale creators who embody Converse’s passion for expression. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, DJ Cutswell (@cutswellaz) resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. He’s been DJ’ing for over 20 years, and it all started when he was 14. “I started practicing eight hours a day. I cared more about hip hop than anything else, and I knew it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life,” said Cutswell. 

Cutswell’s favorite thing about Converse is its versatility. “I can wear them when I’m DJ’ing or when I’m playing hoops,” he said. His fashion sense has always been tailored toward being comfortable and practical in the nightlife scene. Converse sneakers have always been a staple in his wardrobe due to their timeless appeal. “Converse is just a timeless shoe.”
