In celebration of the grand opening of our fourth FEATURE retail store in Scottsdale, Arizona, we have joined with Converse to spotlight four local Scottsdale creators who embody Converse’s passion for expression. Watch the video below and keep reading to learn more about our first creator, Denzel-Ray Nkemdiche. 

Denzel-Ray Nkemdiche (@zennyphantom) is 1/3 of the genre-blending music group Most Wanted (@itsmostwntd), based in Arizona. Denzel is also an avid tennis player, and this sport serves as another creative outlet for him. "I like a challange, and tennis is a very hard sport," says Denzel. In addition to tennis, Denzel's passion for music is also a large component of his life. "It gave me a lot of joy, learning a new craft and just diving into a world of creativity."

Denzel would describe his style as "laid back with a very strong intention." He recalls wearing his first pair of Converse in 2009 and credits this to Wiz Khalifa and the Taylor Gang. "I really like the aesthetic of Chuck Taylors and All-Stars," says Denzel.

Converse sneakers have remained as timeless footwear for Denzel, and he still wears them to this day.
