One of These Days

New Brand Roster Addition

Multimedia artist Matt McCormick's artwork combines diverse cultural influences, primarily the American West, into an artistic vision that challenges the status quo. The artist’s label One of These Days embodies America's spirit and the human condition. Inspired by the renegades, risk-takers, and county outlaws, the brand was created to further Matt McCormick’s creative practice to connect with his audience in a way that differs from the traditional art-viewing space. With abrasive elements of the Wild West in mind, the label emphasizes a minimal yet sophisticated approach to high-quality cut and sewn apparel. While embodying the true spirit of vintage Americana, One of These Days continues to grow organically as their story unfolds. With that, we are excited to announce that One of These Days is the newest addition to our FEATURE brand roster.

One of These Days’ most recent collection, titled ‘Hometown Hero,’ centers around American craftsmanship influenced by small-town charm. Maintaining their consistent cut and sewn garments, each item is crafted domestically and designed with Matt McCormick’s style in mind. Featuring a selection of everyday apparel such as tees, crews, hoodies, and more that reflects conflicting histories of Western culture. Nostalgia for a fabled past collides with the ‘American Dream.’ At the same time, each piece embodies the true spirit of America, but also the human condition, replete with renegades, risk-takers, and outlaws. The ‘Hometown Hero’ collection investigates the broader gamut of culture by exploring familiar Western tropes inspired by Friday night football and the local rodeo.

“Hometown Hero”

One apparel item spotlighted within the Hometown Hero collection from One of These Days is the Cross Tee. Featuring a complete cotton-cut silhouette, this design was created domestically and incorporates a crew neckline. This closet-staple design includes a vintage wash, custom-dyed and treated with a specific sun-faded treatment. A screen-printed graphic of a retro car appears at the chest is intertwined with the line, “Well, I’ve been turnstyled, junkpiled and railroaded too. I’ve been laid low but don’t you know I’m still in love with you.” At the rear of the tee is a vintage-inspired screen-printed cross that makes an additional statement. This design emphasizes the brand and collection’s commitment to crafting vintage Western everyday apparel that elevates any collection and authentically speaks to Matt McCormick’s Americana artistry.

One of These Days also introduces the American Dreamer Crew. Furthering the vintage American aesthetic, the silhouette is also crafted domestically from authentic cotton that allows for a breathable and comfortable experience. Additional detailing can be seen at the cuffs and hem with a ribbed neckline. The crew has gone through a custom dyed and sunfaded treatment, while the vintage wash finish emphasizes the distinct aesthetic. The screen-printed phrase ‘American Dreamer’ is intertwined with a football helmet graphic that subtly incorporates a horse within this imagery. The One of These Days Mustang Hoodie is an essential vintage apparel item to keep within your collection, as this comfortable design features a complete cotton-cut aesthetic. After a vintage wash finish, the silhouette incorporates screen-printed branding and graphics at the chest that portray horses and mountains. The profile is finished with a drawcord hood, ribbed trims, and a kangaroo pocket for a functional touch.
