New Vans Vault Arrivals

Iconic skate-inspired brand Vans first debuted in 1966 by Paul Van Doren and James Van Doren in Anaheim, California. What started as a rubber company that created shoes became a full-fledged footwear brand in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. Vans grew to massive popularity in mainstream markets partially due to the rise of skate culture and the ever-rising popularity of skateboarding. Over the years, Vans has established itself as a classic skate shoe style, growing into a major brand with a wide range of footwear, apparel, and its elevated sub-label, Vans Vault.

Vans Vault is Vans’ high-end division of the primary brand, and it first came onto the scene in 2003. The line includes premium materials and features limited-edition designs placed on signature Vans silhouettes, including the  OG Authentic LX, OG Classic Slip On, Old Skool LX, OG Sk8-Hi LX, Authentic, Knu Skool, and other must-have silhouettes. The inspiration behind the name ‘Vans Vault’ first came from the word ‘Vault,’ meaning the idea of a secure place where valuable items are stored. In this case, these items are the premium Vans shoes and clothing that are part of the primary line. ‘Vault’ conveys the exclusivity and quality of these products.

With that, Vans Vault introduces its latest must-have sneaker arrivals. One must-have silhouette is the Vans Vault Knu Skool VLT LX ‘Devils Details.’ Spotlighting a premium blend of suede, nubuck, textile, and leather at the upper, the sneaker’s lace-up front secures the look. A VansVault logo tag can also be found, while the padded collar, heel pull tab, and textile lining add dimension to the design. The vulcanized midsole provides further detailing, while the gum rubber waffle outsole underneath secures the silhouette. Another new arrival is the Vans Vault Half Cab LX ‘Lux Duct.’ This design arrives with a leather upper paired with distinct distressed finishings. The sneaker’s duct tape details cover the collar and vamp, while the lace-up closure provides a secure touch. A contrasting midsole is placed, while the signature rubber waffle outsole underneath the design wraps up the remainder of the sneaker.

Another stand-out addition to Vans Vault’s new arrivals is the Vans Vault OG Old Skool LX Blanc De. This elevated take on a skate-inspired silhouette makes an impression with its blend of leather and suede at the upper and a lace-up closure for security. The padded ankle and leather lining provide additional comfort. An OrthoLite footbed and a gum rubber waffle outsole underneath complete the remainder of the design.
