‘Stone Sage’ + ‘Sulfur’

Kanye West has been blurring the lines between music, fashion, and footwear for over a decade, which is mainly credited to his boundary-pushing fashion and footwear empire known as Yeezy. Wests’ rise to musical excellence grew steadily over time, and his career took an unexpected turn through the world of sneakers. Since Yeezy’s establishment in 2015 with the Adidas Yeezy Boost 750 and 350, West has continued to redefine the sneaker industry.

First making its subtle debut on the feet of Kanye West’s daughter, North West, in 2019, the iconic Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner was officially debuted to the world in 2020. Highly comparable to the construction of a pair of Crocs, without any laces or moving parts, the design’s silhouette features a thick rear. This unique design also references the Yeezy 700. The first colorway released in 2020, ‘Ararat,’ is inspired by the Mount Arat volcano located in Turkey. Since its debut, the design has been introduced in various colorways, with some of the most notable being ‘Sand,’ ‘MXT Moon Grey,’ ‘Ochre,’ and ‘Mineral Blue.’

The latest Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner arrivals are presented in ‘Stone Sage’ and ‘Sulfur’ hues just in time for the upcoming Earth Day celebrations. Like the previous designs, the slip-on lifestyle silhouette is eco-friendly and comfortable. The one-piece foam upper is made from environmentally-friendly algae for optimal sustainability and comfort. Lightweight EVA foam is blended within the construction, while the iconic circular and oval-shaped perforations throughout the design provide additional airflow with each step. The treaded bottom finishes the look with a durable finish.
