New Balance teams up with renowned accessory company, Stance, for the first of many collaborations in a series of releases throughout the remainder of the year. To kick off their partnership, the brands have come together to release two sneaker + sock packs which pay homage to both label's histories. Titled the "First of All" collection, the pack grabs inspiration from New Balance's Boston roots for the 997 ($220); which showcases a copper rose/tan pig suede upper as a nod to the city's brownstone architecture. The second part of the collection features New Balance's newly introduced 1978 ($180) silhouette in slate blue/tan pig suede inspired by the beach and surf. Both packs include an accompanying pair of Stance 144 Needle crew socks displaying coordinates of the respective brand’s original headquarters.
