Brought to the surface by the iconic rapper, artist, and entrepreneur Kanye West, the Yeezy Legacy first began in 2015 with Adidas Originals. Kanye West’s unique mindset toward fashion and notable legacy helped establish the Yeezy sneaker line and contributed to its massive success. Kanye West’s partnership with Adidas Originals started when the rapper was offered a more hands-on design position, allowing more creative freedom. Considered a vital part of streetwear culture collectively, Kanye West is a trailblazer and has since redefined the definition of a sneaker. 

First teased by Kanye West in 2018, the Yeezy 450, formerly known as the Yeezy 451, is primarily known for its distinct silhouette that displays a sole unit that references alien aesthetics. The design has since garnered mass attention and is considered the sneaker line’s most outlandish design. The Yeezy 450 is one of the rare Yeezy silhouettes that doesn’t sport the iconic Boost cushioning and opts for a molded rubber outsole that blends seamlessly within its knit upper. The sneaker is designed by legendary sneaker designer Steven Smith, mostly known for his futuristic sneaker models. The Yeezy 450 was officially released in 2021 in a ‘Cloud White’ hue and has since been released in additional colorways such as ‘Dark Slate’ and ‘Resin.’

The latest Yeezy 450 addition is presented in a ‘Sulfur’ rendition. The signature design is crafted in Germany and features a premium one-piece knit sock-like construction. Made for a snug fit, the sneaker spotlights a tighter band surrounding the collar and its woven laces. Both adaptable and exceptionally comfortable, the silhouette also includes an upper composed of at least 50% recycled content for added eco-friendly aesthetics. A soft PU-injected midsole adds optimal high-performance rebound and cushioning. The EVA foam sole unit adds additional comfort for each step while incorporating industry-leading sneaker technology.
