Transluscent Home in Hiroshima by Suppose Design Group

4

The Suppose Design group has created a one-of-a-kind home designed for a family of five located in a residential area of Tosuien, Hiroshima. The exterior of the home is simple, yet dazzling. A metal frame structures the home in a boxy shape, while translucent walls cover the exterior completely, providing the home with appropriate lighting for any time of day. The living space is 3 stories tall, with the first being a garage able to fit one car. The second level of the home is a large and wide living space including a kitchen. This level includes extensive use of concrete and steel, giving the home a very raw and minimal look without losing that sense of simple elegance. All bedrooms are located on the top floor of the home, equipped with plastic window panes to keep the transparent feel of the home, without compromising that sense of personal privacy.
