Legendary jacket designer Jeff Hamilton was born in Morocco and moved to Paris as a ten-year-old boy, and later began the start of his long-lasting career as a fashion designer. When he moved to the U.S. as a young adult, Hamilton emerged at the top of the fashion industry as the creative designer behind the very first men’s line for Guess jeans. After leaving Guess, four decades later, Hamilton has grown to become one of the most iconic and recognized jacket designers to celebrities, athletes, and musicians worldwide. By the early ‘90s, Jeff Hamilton had licensed deals with every major professional sports league. Jeff Hamilton’s namesake label is primarily known for its legendary leather patched NBA Championship jackets that have been given to players including Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Shaquille O’Neal. Known for their custom one-of-a-kind leather jackets, the brand began to appear everywhere in pop culture, being seen on Axl Rose in a Guns N’Roses video and Will Smith during episodes of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Countless celebrities have been seen wearing these custom jackets, including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Mike Tyson, and Muhammad Ali.
