Summer 2023 Lookbook ft. Mark Nash

Haven Neiman

With the summer in full swing, now is the time to upgrade your summer wardrobe with the latest arrivals from our premium brands like Rhude, Needles, Saint Michael, and more.

For our latest lookbook, we’re spotlighting artist Mark Nash, the owner of the brand Artwear. Nash is a Southern California native whose passion for the creative arts began with graffiti. As he grew up, he fueled his creative drive by working in a variety of mediums such as fashion design, contemporary art installments, all the way to crafting gold teeth grills, and custom jewelry craftsmanship.

Nash calls his label ‘Artwear’ due to the simple fact that he approaches everything that he can as if it's an art piece. He then tailors it to make it wearable, hence, ‘Artwear.’ To Mark Nash, he’s never trying to satisfy the masses. He’s always gone after unique pieces, whether apparel, accessories, footwear, etc. This resulted in him customizing his sneakers. “I wanted to create something that didn’t exist,” says Nash.

Mark Nash’s hand-crafted and customized sneakers are exclusive designs crafted by hand, utilizing specialized techniques such as dip-dye. Nash has customized sneaker designs such as the Nike Air Force 1, Nike Dunk, etc. Look at the video below to learn more about Mark Nash and his brand Artwear. The rest of the imagery looks deeper into this season’s new arrivals and how Mark Nash stylizes his customized sneakers with these must-have brands from FEATURE.

Mark Nash starts stylizing his customized Nike Vomero sneakers with the Gallery Dept. French Collector L/S Tee as a base. This cotton-cut tee makes an impression thanks to its bold orange hue and printed logo branding. He layered the tee with South2 West8’s Heavyweight Mesh Trek Vest. These two designs pair effortlessly together, taking on a unique all-over print and functional components. For the bottoms are the Stone Island Stretch Gabardine Trousers. Composed of cotton and elastane, the trousers incorporate a regular fit and hand pockets, rear pockets, and leg pockets. Embroidered Stone Island branding is placed, tying together the look.

“My style is very moody. It changes day-to-day.”

In the next look, Mark Nash pairs his customized Nike Dunks first with the exclusive FEATURE Koren Reversible Tee in Tofu. This premium cotton jersey-crafted silhouette is spotlighted with its overlock stitching. The design is layered with the Saint Michael Devil Varsity Jacket and exclusive FEATURE West Mesh Shorts

“I’ve always gone after the more obscure things.”

Mark Nash’s final look starts with the Thierry Lasry x Rhude Rhevision 101 as a premium accessory in the look. The base of the look includes the Rhude Reverse Tee. This cotton-cut tee spotlights an elevated construction and subtle Rhude embroidery. Layered upon the tee is the Needles Flannel Shirt 7 Cuts Shirt. Cut entirely from cotton, this reworked silhouette adds a dimensional aesthetic. Nash wears this look with the Carhartt WIP Double Knee Pants and finishes the entirety of the aesthetic with his customized Nike Cortez sneakers.

“I love it when people see my vision.”
