What started as a photography project in which Francesco Rigazzi photographed what appeared to be an ‘angel’ on a skateboard became an official luxury streetwear label in 2015. Italian designer Francesco Rigazzi was the former art director of Moncler, and his brand ‘Palm Angels’ combines the aesthetics of skateboarding and Los Angeles into one. Palm Angels acts as a vision of American culture combined with a premium Italian twist. While emphasizing Los Angeles skate culture, Palm Angels takes into account skater-inspired silhouettes and its signature gothic branding seen throughout the brand’s offerings.

Inspired by none other than Miami, Florida, Palm Angels’ new Spring/Summer 2023 collection takes on minimalist tailoring as well as signature statement-making silhouettes. The graphics reference Miami's inspiration and the concept of tourism in the past and present. The collection makes up a selection of apparel and headwear that nods to the brand’s rich Los Angeles-inspired streetwear heritage, all while considering inspiration from Miami. The new arrivals feature the Palm Angels Palm Cap, cut entirely from polyester and cotton. The hat features screen-printed logo imagery on the face and other graphics. A curved brim and adjustable rear strap closure finish the remainder of the design. Additionally, the Ripped Logo Cap takes on similar aesthetics with its embroidered logo branding at the face. Distressed detailing is placed throughout, spotlighting the hat.

The Palm Angels GD Reverse Logo Tee is also featured in this new collection. Taking on a cotton construction, the design features tonal screen-printed gothic branding logo imagery at the front, whereas the same is printed upside-down at the rear. The ribbed neckline ties together the design. Additionally, even more Miami aesthetics are present in designs such as the Palm Angels PA Ski Club Classic Tee. This premium graphic silhouette utilizes a complete cotton construction and a crew neckline for added dimension. Screen-printed logo branding makes an impression at the front and rear.
