Palm Angels, the Milan-based fashion brand, was founded in 2015 by Italian designer Francesco Ragazzi, who is also the art director of Moncler. Palm Angels pulls inspiration from skateboarding and Los Angeles culture. The idea of the company was first born from a photography project by Ragazzi in which he photographed an "angel" on a skateboard. The subject was a long-haired skater, skating to a backdrop of palm trees, who’s golden locks caught just the right amount of light on a Venice Beach sunset to create a “halo” around his head and thus inspiring Palm Angels.
Palm Angels bridges the gap between Italy and America through the eyes of Ragazzi. It acts as his vision of American culture with his own Italian twist. The brand focuses on the rugged grace of L.A. skate culture with artistic photographic prints, gold-tone accents, provocative slogans, preppy tailoring and skater-inspired silhouettes.
The brand is most well known for its iconic tracksuits that bridges the gap between streetwear and luxury wear. Palm Angels can be seen on many A-List celebrities including 21 Savage, Migos and more.
