Washington Park Hilltop Residence by Stuart Silk Architects

4

The Stuart Silk Architectural group has constructed this beautiful residence in the Washington Park Hilltop of Seattle, Washington. The residence was erected in the shape of an "H" to contain high traffic areas of the home, such as the living and dining rooms in the central part of the home, all while the subsidiary sides of the home are reserved for the family's private spaces. Water plays a distinct role in the property as it is projected throughout. The home sits atop a mound overlooking Lake Washington, whilst opposite sides face Mt. Rainier and the North Cascades. Inspired by the canals of Venice, moving bodies of water flow along the exterior and interior of the property, to represent the passage one take's through life. The interior of the home is decorated with subtle contemporary furnishings that would outlive any interior design fads. Browse the gallery below to see the rest of this handsome abode.
