Saucony

Founded in 1898 in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, Saucony gets its name from Saucony Creek which runs through Kutztown. The recognizable Saucony logo represents the water flow of the Saucony Creek and the dots represent the boulders that line the creek bed. The brand is pronounced sock-a-knee which used to be printed on the shoeboxes to help customers say the name correctly.

In the late 1960s, Hyde Athletic Industries bought Saucony and shortly after became their top selling brand. Due to this, the company name was changed to Saucony. The primary focus of the Saucony Originals Collection was to reintroduce the retro running shoe in new colorways while using premium materials. It wasn’t until the 1970s when the Saucony brand started to get recognized by the masses and became a new household name in the running shoe industry.

In the past decade, Saucony has worked with many brands on collaborations from Feature, Bodega, West NYC, END Clothing, Bait and Sneaker Freaker. Feature made their sneaker collaboration debut with Saucony in 2014 and 2015 with the High Roller Pack. Shop Saucony sneakers for sale online below.
