WTF! Happened: Immature (IMX)

4

Marques "Batman" Houston, Jerome "Romeo" Jones, and Kelton "LDB" Kessee made up the R&B group, Immature. The Los Angeles based group was one of the early younger groups to cater to the R&B scene. Their hit singles included, "Never Lie", "Constantly" and "I Don't Mind" from the album, Playtyme is Over which made its way on to the Billboard charts. In 1999, the group changed their name to IMx to commemorate their 10 years together as well as their maturing into adulthood.

Along with their name change and two more studio albums, IMx became actors as well in the House Party movies and have made it onto television series including, Sister Sister, A Different World, Family Matters and All That. In 2002, the group disbanded to pursue solo careers. Marques Houston put out several solo albums and Jones aka Yung Rome did not see as much fame. In 2011, Marques Houston announced IMx will be regrouping for new material but no news have surfaced.
