Adidas Yeezy 350 V2
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, began his sneaker journey in 2009 when his first design was released with Nike. The Yeezy was a hit, but after releasing a few models of the Air Yeezy, West decided to transition over to the Adidas brand in 2015 when he was offered a more hands-on role in designing sneakers. This offer was too good to pass up for Ye’s creative mindset, and this decision further snowballed the Yeezy sneaker hype. Ye introduced the first Adidas Originals Yeezy silhouette in 2015 with the Yeezy 350. The original design’s neutral tones spoke to Ye’s overall aesthetic and began the legacy of the iconic branded stripe across the side panels. A year later, a V2 version of the Yeezy 350 was introduced to the public, sparking even more interest in these must-have sneakers.
Over the years, the Yeezy 350 V2 has been one of Adidas’ most iconic sneaker models, with its most notable colorways including ‘Zebra’ and ‘Beluga.’ Although the silhouette has primarily remained in shape and structure over the years with minor adjustments, such as variations with and without a heel tab and changes in the overall Primeknit pattern.
Yeezy introduces its latest addition to its 350 V2 repertoire. Featured in a ‘Bone’ colorway, the angel-like silhouette contains an upper composed of re-engineered primeknit. The neutral design utilizes Adidas’ iconic Boost technology as well. Additionally, a portion of recycled materials is placed within the comfortable upper. The iconic side stripe adds a see-through element, while the webbing pull tab at the heel and three-stripe branding provide additional detail. ‘Yeezy’ is stamped at the sockliner, and the full-length Boost midsole is fully-wrapped with TPU material, offering optimal protection to the responsive cushioning technology.
