Takahiro Miyashita's The Soloist comes together with Converse for a unique rendition of the classic ERX 260 Hi, inspired by the American subcultures of rock music and basketball ($165). The Japanese designer Takahiro also founded Number (N)ine before he went on to create The Soloist. The ERX starts off with an all black leather and suede upper that features a removable zipper lacing guard. All of this sits on a translucent outsole with a graphic that reads “Hello, Hello, Hello, I Am The Soloist," while “I Am The Soloist” is stitched in white into the tongue.
