John Elliott established his namesake label John Elliott over ten years ago with his high school friend and now business partner Aaron Lavee. John Elliott’s clothing is recognized for its minimal to no branding on its ready-to-wear and denim pieces. The label focuses on providing a functional yet elevated wardrobe. 

The Los Angeles-based luxury fashion label has grown in popularity over the years for various reasons, such as its minimalist aesthetic, high-quality materials, signature pieces, collaborations, and overall public notoriety.

With that, the brand’s Spring/Summer ‘23 collection has arrived. One stand-out apparel item is the John Elliott S/S Cloak Button-Up. Cut entirely from a blend of premium cotton and rayon, the silhouette utilizes a pointed collar and a chest pocket for functionality. The all-over print and button placket secures the design. Showcasing similar aesthetics is the John Elliott Camp Shirt. Composed of the same material, the shirt utilizes an all-over tie-dye-inspired graphic print. A spread collar is placed, connecting to a button placket and point collar. The chest pocket provides additional functionality, wrapping up the remainder of the look. The John Elliott Practice Shorts take on a similar all-over print. The polyester-cut shorts feature side pockets in addition to a rear zippered pocket. The drawstring waistband adds a finishing touch to the look.

John Elliott’s new collection also introduces the Vintage Frame Cargo Pants. Cut from cotton, these pants make a great addition to any wardrobe. They feature a slanted front pocket, knee pleats, and cargo pockets for a functional touch. The pants also incorporate rear patch button pockets and an adjustable drawstring waistband for a relaxed fit. The John Elliott Foundation 3 Pack Tee makes a statement, too, with its premium yet everyday aesthetic. The shirts are cut from recycled cotton and utilize a crew neckline for added dimension.
