With no formal training in fashion design, Rhuigi Villaseñ officially made waves in the industry after founding his namesake label Rhude in 2015. The menswear designer’s luxury label is based in Los Angeles and balances luxury techniques with authentic streetwear elements. The brand often recreates wardrobe classics with a modern twist paired with premium textiles placed on detailed cut and sew construction. Rhude’s consistent ready-to-wear collections tend to reflect the personal stories of Villaseñor as well as combine American iconography with nostalgic western references. With that, Rhude introduces its new collection—Pre-Fall ‘22.

The Rhude Moonlight Tee authentically displays the brand’s western nostalgia. Cut from premium cotton, the breathable and comfortable tee is elevated in its overall design. A crew neckline is placed for added detail, while the silhouette’s primary spotlight is the screen-printed Rhude branding residing at the front and rear. Along with taking on a vintage-inspired look, the silhouette is complete with western graphics at the front and back, both of which are intertwined with the signature branding. The Rhude PJ Short Sleeve Shirt is a notable stand-out item from this new delivery. Composed of cupro, the silhouette features a button-down closure that connects to a spread collar. Subtle piping is placed throughout, also being displayed in the chest pockets. Embroidered branding at the chest and imagery finishes the look.

The Rhude Terry Short is a must-have for the summer season. Composed of cotton, the silhouette spotlights an adjustable waistband with extended yellow drawcords. In-seam side pockets add a functional touch, with the single welted rear pocket contributing to that functional notion. Embroidered Rhude script branding at the left thigh ties together the rest of the western-inspired silhouette.
