Brought to fruition by Ehrhardt Koch in Buffalo, New York, what was a small American headwear company has since grown into a full-fledged lifestyle headwear brand. New Era was established in order to create high-quality caps for the public. In 1993, New Era became the official headwear partnership brand of the MLB. Since that partnership, the American headwear brand has also received exclusive headgear rights to the NFL and NBA. With that, the iconic headwear company introduces its latest collection: Logo History. Presented on the iconic 59FIFTY Fitted, this premium collection showcases the progression of New Era’s logo over the last 100 years alongside some of the top-tier MLB Cooperstown logos.
Some of the teams featured in this collection include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Oakland Athletics, and more. The New Era Logo History 59FIFTY Fitted New York Yankees ‘98 spotlights the rich history of the iconic New York Yankees. The premium headwear item itself is constructed entirely of wool, offering a premium aesthetic to the overall silhouette. Woven eyelets are scattered strategically throughout the crown, while the stitching throughout the hat secures the fit. A flat brim is placed, while the contrasting undervisor makes an impression. At the face of the 59FIFTY Fitted is an embroidered New York Yankees team logo. On the right side is an embroidered 1998 World Series patch, further nodding to the team’s notable legacy. Above this patchwork is a removable gold-finished New Era pin. On the left side is a signature embroidered New Era flag label.
