NEW FOOTWEAR ARRIVALS

Footwear has become a staple within everyone’s closet and its evolution has introduced us to new styles and names. This season some of your favorite labels have introduced new colorways of classic silhouettes that can be adapted to everyday wear. Veja, Birkenstock, and Ugg are the most recent brands with the latest deliveries.

Veja was introduced to the industry in 2005 as its founders were committed to finding an eco-friendly way to create sneakers. Since then, Sebastian Kopp and Francois-Ghislain Morillion have rebelled against the unjust ways of footwear by providing sustainable styles that are timeless. A combination of organic, recycled, and ethically sourced products contribute to their iconic silhouettes such as the Campo, V-10, and Esplar. New colorways of these models make their debut. Bold or neutral, there’s a palette for every aesthetic as seen with the V-10 in Nautico Pekin. Ethically sourced leather builds the upper of the sneaker while organic cotton and amazonian rubber provides comfort and durability. In addition to the V-10, these qualities are transferred over to the other silhouettes and include other materials such as sugar cane, recycled plastic, and rice waste.

Birkenstock’s also has a high regard to construction as many of their designs feature their inimitable cork footbed. Their historic development has grown since its inception and they continuously stick to their roots by utilizing classic quality materials. Because of their well-known background they have teamed up with notable names including Stussy, Rick Owens, and Valentino. Some of their most popular sandals include their Arizona and Boston. Both models include a cork-latex footbed with grooves that perfectly mimic the natural foot. There are plenty of variants of each sandal including Vegan Leather, Nubuck, and even their exclusively developed Birko-Flor fabric. They continuously push the boundaries with new patterns and colors while ultimately keeping comfort at the forefront.

Australian footwear label, Ugg, has become a household name as they have currated signature styles to fit everyone. Brian Smith combined his love for premium Australian fabrics with the casual and leisurely lifestyle of Southern California to create his signature designs. From boots to sandals, the wide range of designs allows the brand to be worn all year long. Most recently, Ugg has released new palettes of their Fluff Yeah Slide. The shoe is completely encased with sheepskin and finished with a rubber outsole in order to combat outer forces. An elastic band is added for optimal security and comfort with each step. Similar designs are transferred over onto the Scuffette II, Classic Mini Boot II, Classic Short II, and the Fluff You Slipper. Sheepskin is a common fabric utilized for elevated comfort during times of wear. Add something new to your rotation with Veja, Birkenstock, and Ugg.
