What is PLEASURES? To the Los Angeles-based streetwear label itself, the definition of real pleasure is “A mood. An emotion. An altered state of being.” PLEASURES takes into account 90s subculture inspiration and blends it within DIY lifestyle aesthetics that evoke authentic grunge emotions. The heavily graphics-based apparel label consistently produces apparel such as hoodies, long sleeve t-shirts, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and more. Its founder, Alex James, grew up in New Jersey and would take the train down to New York City to explore stores. This piqued his interest, which grew to him working retail jobs as a teen. The innovator eventually transitioned into selling clothes he had found at estate sales, which then moved him towards officially founding the streetwear brand in 2015. Well-versed in blazing pathways and cutting through the fashion noise with bold graphic clothing, Alex Jones takes into account the definition of PLEASURES within the brand’s consistent arrivals.

With that, PLEASURES introduces its Summer 2022 delivery. The brand continues its going selection of elevated graphic street staples. Consisting of graphic takes on hoodies, shirts, t-shirts, pants, and more, this collection features collaborations with the iconic band Weezer along with the artist Dan Witz. Subtle sports aesthetics are present throughout this delivery, as in the Volume Mesh T-Shirt. Inspired by grunge rock and roll aesthetics, the silhouette spotlights a premium blend of cotton and spandex for a comfortable touch. Ribbed detailing resides at the trims, while the embroidered graphics make a statement on the front. This embroidering paired with signature branding rounds out the remainder of the design.

Perfect for the warmer summer months, the PLEASURES Refresh Nylon Active Short is the latest addition to the streetwear label’s repertoire. Cut from nylon, the silhouette includes all-over tonal logo branding. The elastic waistband is treated with a drawcord for added functionality. The two front pockets add further functionality with the embroidered PLEASURES patch at the right thigh. With that, PLEASURES introduces its latest graphic arrivals. One of these arrivals includes the PLEASURES Anguish T-Shirt. Cut from cotton, the premium tee spotlights screen-printed rock brand-inspired graphics. Placed below this graphic is notable screen-printed branding. Another stand-out graphic item is the PLEASURES Baked T-Shirt. The cotton-cut tee features screen-printed illustrations at the chest by Andi Repke paired with the PLEASURES branding finish the look.
