Situated along a windswept coastline in the Australian state of Victoria, local practice Jackson Clements Burrows Architects has crafted a remote hideaway named the ‘Moonlight Cabin’. The structure has been designed to provide refuge while engaging with the landscape’s constantly changing conditions. Connected to the electrical grid, the building is configured to be environmentally responsive with rainwater harvested for reuse. An adjoining sheltered area of decking provides sweeping views of the coastal landscape.
