Introducing Reese Cooper // Vintage American Fused With The Great Outdoors
Marissa Villamor
We are proud to introduce the latest brand to the Feature roster, Reese Cooper. First launched in 2016, the Los-Angeles based brand didn’t gain traction in the fashion industry until 2018 with the launch of its first full menswear collection. Within a few short years, Reese Cooper has made a name for himself in the industry after becoming one of the youngest-ever finalists for the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund in 2019.
The label is composed of classic streetwear silhouettes mixed with workwear craftsmanship that is inspired by vintage Americana fused with the great outdoors. Each seasonal collection is made to represent a different chapter in the brand’s journey from photography to fashion, interior design to film and more. Each collection tells a different story and this message can be found throughout each outerwear piece that they create with the excerpt: “This is a story fueled by escapism and exploration. Clothing, objects and visuals inspired by what you need, what you cherish and what you acquire on the journey.”
Reese Cooper’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection encompasses this same brand ethos with the title “If A Tree Falls.” The collection is inspired by the great outdoors mixed with the Western American aesthetic. Notable pieces in the collection include the Reese Cooper Sherpa Fleece Jacket in cream (TF00050). The jacket is a cream-based sherpa outerwear piece with green nylon ripstop panels with details on the packets and the funnel neck. Othe stand out pieces include Reese Cooper’s waxed cotton trucker jacket in orange (TF00045). The jacket is a classic RCI trucker jacket made with waxed cotton fabric.
