Ksubi Spring '23 'SUPERNET'

Haven Neiman

Established in 1999 across the pond in Australia, Ksubi, pronounced ‘sue-bee,’ has made its mark on the fashion industry by becoming highly revered for its high-quality denim offerings that consider unique washes, fits, and distressing. The two most popular denim jeans from Ksubi are the Chitch and Van Winkle. Ksubi’s easily-recognizable aesthetic can be accredited to its signature attributes, like its black pocket flag that hangs from the back right pocket of each pair of jeans. Cross logo embroidery is also heavily seen throughout the brand’s denim apparel and additional offerings, which further reflects the brand’s heritage. Besides the brand’s denim jeans, Ksubi consistently introduces new tees, sweatshirts, jackets, and more.

With that, Ksubi has recently introduced their brand-new Spring ‘23 collection titled ‘SUPERNET.’ To Ksubi, there is no better time to embark on a new journey than now, and this collection can be described as an accurate depiction of escaping reality. SUPERNET settles between concepts of nostalgia and futurism to create a unique experience. This new era of disruption dives into early web nostalgia to offer a modern take on fashion aesthetics. The collection explores the limited space between physical and digital concepts, all while exploring ideas of futuristic energy. The collection’s standout pieces are reflected through denim jeans, t-shirts, jackets, hoodies, and more.

On the denim front, Ksubi introduces the Ksubi Chitch Super Cold. This design makes an impression on any denim rotation with its high-quality and unique aesthetic. Made for a slim fit, this premium pair of jeans features a five-pocket design and a blend of cotton and elastane. The jeans incorporate a button fly along with distressed detailing throughout. Embroidered branding makes an impressionable touch, while the iconic Ksubi hang tag wraps up the remainder of the silhouette. Additionally, the jeans pair well with the nostalgic-inspired Pixel Sign Biggie Sundown S/S Tee from the Australian brand. Made for an oversized fit, this garment-dyed silhouette takes on a bright hue and signature Ksubi cross branding printed throughout. A ribbed neckline is placed, while the digitally-printed branding and reversed overlock side seams provide a dimensional finish.

Perfect for the summer, Ksubi also introduces a matching set that makes a statement. The set begins with the Ksubi Check Out Resort S/S Tee. Composed of tencel, the silhouette features a spread collar and a button-down closure. The all-over Ksubi print makes a futuristic impression, while the signature Ksubi t-box branding ties together the design. Paired perfectly with the top is its short counterpart, the Ksubi Check Out Boardshort. Taking on a tencel construction, the short features the same all-over print in addition to the t-box branding. The side pockets and elastic drawstring waistband provide a functional finish to the overall look.
