Fall 2021 Collection

In the early 80s, surfer Shawn Stussy shaped surfboards for friends and other locals in Laguna Beach, California. Shortly after he began this venture, Stussy began screening t-shirts and shorts, signing each piece with his surname, written in a graffiti-influenced hand style. This was the beginning of the Stussy brand. Inspired by surf culture, skating, and music, Stussy began creating designs and overall aesthetics that touched on underground subculture references that resonated with him. Although Stussy started as a Southern California surf brand, it has been adopted by streetwear and hip-hop culture. The brand’s growth snowballed, partly due to the youth movements that unintentionally caused a shift in the fashion industry. Stussy has maintained its stake in the streetwear industry because of its commitment to staying true to itself. Over the years, the brand has partnered with top brands in the fashion world, including Nike, Bape, Cactus Plant Flea Market, and most recently, Dior.

Stussy’s latest fall delivery includes a variety of seasonally appropriate staples. Featuring psychedelic textured prints and stripes and checks, the patterned pieces bring texture and tonality to an array of items, such as crewnecks, hoodies, tees, and beanies. Clean construction is the inspiration behind this collection, reminding everyone that clothing is another form of artistic expression. With that, the Stussy Dice Crew features the signature dice motif screen-printed at the front and back of the silhouette, further emphasizing the brand’s skate and surf culture aesthetics. An additional collection piece includes the Stussy Peace Dot Hoodie. With a signature Stussy tribe logo printed at the front and back, the hoodie is complete with an adjustable drawstring hood and ribbed trims for a detailed look.


A stand-out item from the collection includes the Positive Vibration Tee, which features a detailed Stussy graphic at the chest, and can also be seen at the back. The screen-print and high-quality materials and detailing offer an upgraded feel to the standard tee. Stussy’s various headwear and accessories are perfect for completing any Stussy look. The Crochet Checker Beanie is made of an acrylic and wool blend for a comfortable yet sleek look. Included in the checkered-silhouette is a woven stitched logo at the cuff of the beanie, completing the design. The Dyed Stripe Ribbed Crew Socks feature a unique tie-dye wash that correlates with the intricate ribbed finishing. Complete with Stussy printed branding, its combination of high-quality materials allows for a comfortable and classic fit.
