Luke Vicious
Custom artist Luke Esquibel first started his career as a graphic designer and artist, using fashion as a creative outlet. The idea of Luke Vicious came to fruition in 2015 when his first collection, “False Idols,” was produced in conjunction with Hypebeast. Esquibel focused on using his artwork, utilizing upcycled vintage wear, hoping that his label would spark conversation and stand out from the crowd. This experimentation eventually led him to a full-fledge stand-alone fashion label.
The streetwear label ranges from classic silhouettes to accessories, varying from casual and minimalist to bold and grunge. Esquibel clearly states that he’s not an aspiring fashion designer; instead, he’s an artist, utilizing upcycled clothing as his creative outlet and his small contribution to the world. The brand draws inspiration from punk and dark aesthetics but with a signature Luke Vicious twist.
Since its inception, the brand has gained notable popularity from celebrities including Wiz Khalifa, Skrillex, The Weeknd, and Frank Ocean.
