Releasing this Saturday, May 20th, Air Jordan is celebrating the upcoming arrival of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which is hitting theaters in a couple of weeks. Air Jordan is honoring the movie's appearance with a new iteration of the iconic Air Jordan 1 High. The eagerly-awaited sequel to the 2018 animated superhero film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, spotlights Miles Morales’ wearing the Air Jordan 1 ‘Next Chapter’ on foot.

Arriving in men’s, preschool, toddler, and grade school sizing, ‘Next Chapter’ is a unique spin on the Air Jordan 1 High ‘Chicago,’ an OG colorway of the 1985 silhouette favored by none other than Miles Morales. The sneaker utilizes shades of red, white, and black, a palette often brought to life by touches that pay homage to Marvel’s signature animation style. One stand-out component of this shoe is the comic book-inspired graphic that can be found at the collar overlay and eyestay fragment. The Air Jordan 1 ‘Next Chapter’ stands out by also utilizing mismatched leather and suede segments throughout the upper. The tongue label is stitched atop the nylon tongue, whereas the outsole glows in the dark.
