California-based and skate-inspired brand Vans made its initial debut in 1966 by Paul Van Doren and James Van Doren in Anaheim, California. Initially starting off as a rubber company that created shoes sold to the public, over the years, Vans gained widespread mainstream popularity in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. A vulcanized midsole makes an impression, fusing seamlessly to the gum rubber waffle outsole for a completed aesthetic. Additionally, the Vans Vault OG Lampin LX is an additional must-have new arrival from the sneaker brand. Taking on a paneled suede upper, this paneled design incorporates a padded collar for added comfort. Plastic eyelets house a cotton lace-up closure, while the exposed stitching at the seams makes an impression. A Vans label flag is also sewn at the sides.
