Cadence Architects has completed a residence in the Indian city of Bangalore that has been conceived as a continuous loop that rises up from the ground. Known as ‘Elastica’, the concept has been designed as a ‘fluid events space’, forming a comfortable retreat in the middle of the dense urban setting. The architecture’s folded concrete slab forms the stairway — connecting various levels as one continuous surface.
