Air Jordan 6 Retro DMP Releasing 4/18
Marissa Villamor
One of the most sought after Air Jordan’s is returning as a solo release for the first time in 14 years. Paying homage to the original design of the Air Jordan 6 by Tinker Hatfield in 1990, the Air Jordan 6 DMP “Defining Moment” is set to release Saturday, April 18.
The sneaker originally released in 2006, as the Air Jordan Defining Moments Pack included the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 11. The pack was created to celebrate Michael Jordan’s two three-peats in 1991 and 1996. The silhouettes were the same ones that Michael Jordan wore during the years of each of the NBA Finals three-peats.
Air Jordan 6 Retro DMP will feature the same colorways and qualities as the original release. The silhouette features a black suede upper and features terry cotton on the sock liner for a complete all-black look. Metallic gold accents can be seen throughout on the tongue’s Jumpman branding, the heel tab and on the midsole. The iconic “23” logo is stamped alongside more Jumpman embroidery in metallic gold.
